We created Warp & Weave having spent our careers bringing people together to solve difficult problems.
We’ve worked in and around large organisations, Students’ Unions and charities, designing and delivering collaborative sessions, events and projects that help groups move from confusion to clarity. We’ve seen first-hand how often good people get stuck in unstructured conversations, and how powerful it is when the right environment and process unlocks better thinking.
Our work draws on experience of large-scale, highly structured collaborative design environments used for strategy, innovation and complex decision-making. We’ve taken those principles and adapted them into something lighter, more accessible and more affordable, without losing the rigour that makes them effective.
Alongside facilitation, our backgrounds span technology, event production, senior management, design and hands-on delivery. That mix means we don’t just talk about ideas; we know how to create the practical conditions that let groups do their best work together, whether that’s in a physical room, a hybrid setting, or a fully online session.

Our approach.
We take inspiration from well-known collaborative design methods that were created to help large groups solve messy, high-stakes problems.
The core idea is simple: don’t just have a better meeting, design a better way of thinking together.
That means making ideas visible, giving people clear steps to follow, and guiding a group from exploration to decision in a deliberate order. Instead of long, circular discussions, you get focused bursts of work that build into something concrete by the end of the session.
We’ve adapted these principles into something lighter and more practical for smaller organisations and charities. No jargon, no off-the-shelf templates, and no one-size-fits-all process. Each session is designed around your specific challenge.
